Getting to know the artist
Hello and welcome to my Web site. My name is Joyce Alston Regan, but
professionally I go simply by Alston which is my maiden name and I use it to
honor my mother. I love art and am passionate about my art. Although primarily
self-taught, I have taken art classes in college and art workshops throughout
the Western States. |

I've always had a strong desire to paint and create beautiful
paintings. During my "other life" as a working mother of three with a
full time career, I painted as time allowed.
However since retiring from the business world I am now able to
pursue my PASSION for the art world.
I am a member of
Oil Painters of America. I
have won many art awards and shown my work on both the east and west coasts.
